Six nominated for awards at IAED Navigator Conference

Six nominated for awards at IAED Navigator Conference

A team from our Clinical Communication Centre are this week attending the International Academies of Emergency Dispatch (IAED) Navigator Conference for Australasia 2019.

The Wellington Free Ambulance team at Navigators IAED Conference.

The IAED conference​, which is being held in Auckland, is the premier conference for medical, fire and police dispatching and secondary nurse triage.

Six of our Emergency Medical Dispatchers (EMDs) have been nominated for the award of EMD of the Year.

Staff were nominated due to their consistent excellent performance and remarkable skill, empathy and professionalism exercised when taking emergency 111 calls.

Best of luck to all those nominated, we'll be cheering for you!
