As a regular and ongoing donor, you're an essential member of the Wellington Free Ambulance team. As a 24/7, 365 days a year service, we need to be here year-round - that’s why we need your year-round support.

Michael and Bronwyn’s story – “We’re so grateful for what Wellington Free did”
“We decided to donate to Wellington Free because of our son, Sam.
Back in 2017, he was working when he collapsed. The fire brigade and Wellington Free took care of him. They worked on him for quite a long time, including restarting his heart with an AED [automated external defibrillator]. He got through that.
Over the years, Sam needed repeated defibrillation and the ambulance always turned up.
We decided to donate to Wellington Free on a regular basis because we’re so grateful for what they did for Sam.”

Your impact
Each year we must raise $8 million from the community to ensure we can be here when people need us most, free of charge – your regular and ongoing donations form a crucial part of this.
Your regular and ongoing donations are used to provide essential healthcare services, including our Emergency Ambulance Service.
Last financial year, regular and ongoing givers donated around $637,000 – that’s 980 emergency ambulance responses they helped fund this year alone. Each of those people that we helped during those call-outs are parents, grandparents, children, friends and loved ones. They might be someone you know or care about. Thanks to this support, they got the help they needed at no cost to them.

It's quick and easy to become a Community Champion and help us provide emergency care for people across Greater Wellington and Wairarapa, 24/7, 365 days a year - completely free of charge. You choose the amount and how often to give.
You can set up your regular donations online using this form. Choose your donation amount - $25, $50, $75 or $100, or enter whatever amount suits you best - we value each dollar!
Then choose how often you'd like to make your payment - weekly or monthly.
Enter your personal details and then your payment card details, and you're done. Welcome to the team!
